"Wedding Lunch"
On November 4, 1974, my husband to be went to close on a house that we had picked out for our our blended family. He then picked me up for lunch. No one knew but my mother and his sister, but we spent our lunch hour at the courthouse getting married. Then we went to Prince's downtown location to "celebrate" our wedding. He took me back to work after lunch; he went to work, and we announced to the rest of our family, friends & co-workers that we were married! Every few years I will pick up lunch from Prince's to share with him on our anniversary and I'm reminded every time we go to Prince's how we started our married life almost 35 years ago. We now go to the Fuqua location frequently and their burgers 'n rings are as good now as always.
